Progress with my Giant

Hi Its been a while since I posted my
intention to paint this project

got the Giants head painted but for a few tidy ups
seemed a good place to start

Fixed to base ... with the lower part of the figure
attached the upper body just drops on following separate painting

The face is painted in acrylics...... all comments and critiques welcome

Gotta agree with Roy......excellent painting. I've always wanted to do this figure..........hard to come by now I would guess.

That's looking good. Nice flesh tones and tight work especially on the eyes.

Shame, who'd be a giant - in most of the stories they tended to end up like this one.

I had this kit and sold it at the Gravesham bring and buy a couple of years back. Oh,well

Anybody know who sculpted it?

Thanks to all for the encouraging comments
really enjoying painting this
suppose I could have reflected greater trauma in the skin tone ...
but went for a surprised look

maybe he cant believe his head has just been removed
who knows ...lol

anyway its a big project ... will take me ages ... slow painter
will post further as I go the next challenge being the wolfskin
have looked at so many pics of wolves ... seems to be a popular animal on google
still can never have enough reference ..
