Hi All,

I made this figure over a 4 year period. It has just been featured in Toy Soldier Collector magazine issue 69. I hope you like it.

Great to see the Yeomanry Regiments constructed and painted so nicely. Victor your 4 years work have been well spent.
Do you have a plan to make figures of the many other Yeomanry toops?
Regards
Keith

Hello Keith and Chris,

Thanks for your kind comments. The Yeomanry regiments are very colourful. I use the set of Yeomanry booklets by Barlow, Smith and Marrion, Ogilvy Trust, and this http://www.uniformology.com/ site for reference as well.

This figure was sculpted based on Scalelink legs, a Historex horse and two toy soldier kettledrum castings. The dog is an old Phoenix casting. The rest was scratchbuilt.

Hello Dan,

Thank you for your kind comments. I was making other figures as well. The reason for the long time frame was that I was having to search continuously and make educated guesses on the uniform and accoutrements. I also experimented with various sculpting approaches and kept making changes. I don't regret it. I learned a lot of things, including patience and perseverance. Rgds Victor
