Just to push this thread on a little, who had an Action Man?

Memories of his life and demise would be interesting for folks of a certain age in this forum (mine suffered from joints that rusted in the bath - the frogman kit was just way too cool to not try it out under water )

Come bonfire night, it was not unknown for certain pals of mine to strap bangers to our beloved Palitoy friends - the results gave new meaning to plastic surgery

Had one and took it to school for show and tell .....try that today. My son was looking for one for me for last Christmas but couldn't find one cheaper than a small car (thank God). There are $ limits to my love of nostalgia.

Re. the airfix box, most of mine were blown to smithereens with now banned fire crackers in my Dad's garden. Didn't do his tatties a lot of good either!
