Mark-that must be worth a fortune!

Yeah, there's a few valuable, rare ones amongst them, but they're only worth something to those who can remember them and know what the hell they are.
They're not something that will increase in value unfortunately because as old farts like me, who collect in a vain attempt to recapture youth, fall off the twig, they'll be wothless I reckon.

That goes for just about everything we collect as well as all the wifey's antiques.

Oh yes, good times back then - it was first Timpo and then Airfix for me as well. I did not salvage many things from the childhood days and their value is mostly in the eye of the beholder but I kept my first "conversion": - I was always discontent that the Airfix WWI-Germans did not have an adequate officer to lead them in a charge (as was the case with all the other sets of that range). So I chopped some figures including an officer of the French Foreign Legion apart.(you can see the blue plastic underneath the paint on his arm due to "battle damage":) )
