King Arthur: Legend of the Sword
Charlie Hunnam plays King Arthur in the film, which is directed by Guy Ritchie. Also staring Katie McGrath, Eric Bana, Djimon Hounsou and Aidan Gillen, the film is set to open March 24, 2017.
Looks like King Arthur meets Game of Thrones and Lord of the Rings! 5th/6th century Britain it aint!
Cameo by David Beckham [whoopee la la!]

Mmmmmm...

Beckham eh ..playing 2nd fiddle to the jester then!....

Me I have a starring role ...I play the Stone Excalibur is it .......

As long as Charlie (Jaks....SOA) leaves his Harley at home.......:D Who is taking the Nicol Williamson role of Merlin? That would be a hard one to top.

Just watched the trailer, link above . Looks more like a fantasy movie, but still it looks like it will be fun.

One to watch out for.

Ah, so not 'Excalibur' then, but another fantasy offering. Looks to have some decent production values, and Charlie Hunnam is a good actor, but why is everything filmed in deep blue-grey tones? Gets irritating after a while. Maybe I'm being a BOF.........:meh:

Nicol Williamson, will be hard to beat! as 'Merlin'. Although Ben Kingsley, gave a good performance in the film 'The last Legion'.
This new film might be worth a watch.(y)

Oh dear, anyone who goes to see this who finds it an exemplar of film making will have had their brains removed, cleaned of common sense by hollywood imagineering and replaced with utter pap.
Apart from the blue grey tonal values, they will again all be experts at mixed marshal arts whilst holding a perfectly useable sword and dagger and wear leather armour with bits of metal attached and another pretty boy from the brooding look section of the celluloid casting shop.
What is the point of modernising something only for it to be garunteed to be sh1te.

Look at the 'new' Musketeers, the abuse of the Cornwell sxon books and so on.

I soooooo want to be wrong.....but I bet I am not.

Anyway ......how can anyone improve on the majesty of La Mirren as Morgana.
If you genuinely can think of one, I'll plunge a sword in me own stones !

Sir Paul of pointless.

 Who, said anything about going to see it? ... If it comes to me in the future, then fair enough. :D

I am not sure what was the last film I saw? .. Probably 'Charlie Chaplin'.
