Hello Jaume, that is absolutely stunning. My compliments my friend

Unbelievable flesh tones, I am sure for an amazing result when you finish all the figure.

Best Regards

hello Jaume
I am the Chinese you met last year at folkstone
after I bought your book, I practiced in your way several times to paint figure
head, see attachment. this head is nearly finished, except the hair and eyebow.
however, I found I can not get even similar results as yours.
first, I mixed burnt cad.redy with sand brown as 2:1 for the second shadow based on your book, but I found this portion is too red as shadow, so I only apply 1st shadow on this head, and mixed 1st shadow with sand brown as inter-color, I am not sure why I cannot get a good second shadow.could you give me some suggestion?
second, when I used VA color to draw eyes, they dried too quickly, it is very diffcult to control that, could you give me some tips?
finally, I guess, when you blending the shadows and high lights in highly diluted color, but you only take very few of them each time, using tissues to absord most of them and apply them on faces like "dry-brush" for several times till satisfy. I am not sure my guess is right.
sorry to post them here, I can not find your e-mail.
cheers
ji
