I purchased a Pegaso Models kit, Napoleon Crossing the Alps (kit 90-209) and Napoleon's head is damaged. I have tried contacting Pegaso asking about a replacement part, but have not ever received a response...not even a "no way" response. Anyone have any suggestions? I am not a talented enough sculptor to make another head. Just an FYI, Napoleon's nose was crushed.

Making a bit of a fuss here, and if enough of us respond to your issue, we might collectively apply a bit of extra pressure for
Pegaso to at least reply

If it’s just the nose perhaps it is not too hard to fix. Make a nose-sized blob of putty, say MagicSculp, place a tiny drop of cyano glue on the danaged nose, fix still soft putty blob, wait until glue hardens and finish by shaping the nose with a moist toothpick. The cyano glue sets very fast, leaving you a lot of time with the putty. Just in case you never get a replacemt head....

Cheers,
Adrian

I am surprised by the lack of response from Pegaso, could it be due to holidays? I had a horse with a broken leg and they were very helpful and sent me a complete horse as replacement .

Most of Italy tend to shut down in August for a holiday. Also Pegaso were at the Kulmbach show around the 10th August. So may be they are still catching up so possibly a polite chasing email might help speed things up.

Well it could be worse!Imagine something like this happening to a "Duke of Wellington "figure.I mean if it is hard enough to repair a crushed nose,it would be virtually impossible to repair "Hookie's" conch:LOL::LOL::LOL:.Just kidding of course.I can sympathize with you,a large scale figure which you like very much (and have spent quite a few king's shillings in purchasing it) is damaged and the company does not reply to your replacement requests.NOT NICE PEGASO PEOPLE.In all fairness though I should also admit that Pegaso has a very good record in such matters.Perhaps the holidays are to blame .Give them a reminder once September sets in.
Best of luck.

Oda.

In my experience, Pegaso has excellent customer service. I have purchased more than my fair share of their figure kits over the years. Three kits had missing or damaged parts and, in all three cases, I contacted Pegaso through their website and the items were replaced. I included, in each case, a picture of the kit and box and in less than two weeks the missing or damaged parts arrived here in the US. I am very surprised that you have not heard from them. I would try contacting them again through their website email address or even on Facebook messenger.
