No preference if I like the subject. But I don't like that the resin warps and I am afraid that it will break when I straighten it out.

That's easy comrade : )

John B that's another of resins great quality's, using gentle heat to straighten or bend. It doesn't break if heated properly. Hot/warm water I find best for this bud,

There needs to be a third option of "Resin and Metal".

Anyway it won't be long until the only options will be whatever materials are compatible with a 3D printer.

Sharper detail with resin, but I hate the casting blocks and the resin dust may be injurious to health if ingested.
I value metal and I like the feel and weight of it, so metal gets my vote however, each to their own.

I prefer the detail that is possible with resin and with failing vision and the comensurate move to larger figures, weight becomes an issue.
That said I do prefer metal for swords and bayonets, less distortion in warm weather.
Again, like everyone, I hate the casting blocks.
Good poll Carl.
Cheers,
Keith
