You're too kind Stephen. Thanks mate.

Before I send the DVD of "The Adventures of Robin Hood" back to the store, I tried to superimpose my figure in front of a scene from the movie. Didn't quite turn out as I was hoping, but a lovely way to waste half an hour:D

Great result, Tony.
Love the Lincoln Green.
I like your wife's contribution as well.

Hi Dim,

Thanks mate.

The base colour for the cloak and shirt was Vallejo Flat Green 968. I mixed Yellow Green 881 and Ivory 981 into the Base colour to create the highlights and mixed black with the base coat to create the shadows. The highlights were applied in a series of very thin washes and built up, layer on layer, over several applications.

The tights were painted in my highlight colour (Flat Green +Ivory + Yellow Green), and darkened by a series of washes of Flat Green.

Hope this helps.

Your work is great!
It'll be completed and I congratulate it.
Green is the wonderful color.
A very beautiful figure.

Yes we've all called them Blonde at some time for as long as we can get away with it.
But it's a fact of life that eventually all our bow strings no longer need to be painted grey.

Hi Mitsutaka, thank you my friend. It was a very lovely figure to paint.

G'day Mark, I can't use my hair to make bow strings, it's too short and grey.

Hi Marc, thank mate I appreciate your comments.

Hi Marcel and Andrew,

Thank you my friends,I'm glad you like him..

Andrew, my next project is a 54mm British Infantryman 1912 by Soldiers of Fortune. I'm just finishing the clean up at this stage in preparation for painting.
