Here is the newest thing I have started and probably the last till golf season is over. It is another killer bust by Young, he can sculpt a face like no other. I tried to take some closeups of the face to see how they turned out (Tse let me know). I am also using a new mix for the shadows by adding more red and am curious what you guys think of it. I can see the eyes need some work and will work on those. Thanks for checking him out.

I added these updated pics, I added highlighting to the face but it doesn't show up like I wanted it to, I also did some work on the body part of the bust. I tried two different light sources, the bottom one shows the highlighting a lot better than the top one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Mike if making a comment i will do it on the left pictures. The right one looks washed out by the light.
I believe that your shadows are deep enough. I would do more highlighting now.

thanks fella's, I thought it needed more highlite but didn't want to eff it up without some advice. Thanks for your input. A highlighting I will go.

Thanks again!

This is a very nice looking bust and you are tackling it well, i like the pitted metal look of the armor, is this sculpted or painted on ?

getting a little closer and playing around with the photo's under a different color light. the fluorescent was very "cool" in color. I think these look better. Still a little more to do before he is done. Any comments are appreciated to help finish the figure and in the photo's. My pics ahave been really bad and never show the fig like it looks in person.
