Awesome gladiator Tony.
The fleshtones are very well reproduced also like the groundwork.(y)

Fine work in every way Tony, especially like the flesh tones.

Tony:

This presentation came out so very nice. Typical of your skilled work.

However, . . .

I have a question about your "name plate". That really looks classy. And I
wonder if you would be willing to give some more info about how you
had this done, or created it yourself? Inquiring minds want to know! ;);)

Will there be news at Eleven?? :D:D

Hi Steve, thanks once again mate. I enjoyed bringing this SBS to you. Stay tuned for the next exciting episode!!

Thanks Gordy, the shield came out just as I wanted; a beat up and showing the wear and tear you'd expect for a seasoned Gladiator.

Hi Pedro, thanks very much for your comments mate. I'm pleased you like the fleshtones and the groundwork.

Hi Richard, I greatly appreciate your comments mate. I'm glad you like the fleshtones.

Hi Rick, thanks very much for your kind comments mate. The etched brass name plate was supplied with the kit, and is one of the signature features of a Seil kit. All I did was paint the lettering in black to make it stand out a bit more. It's a real pity more manufacturers don't supply name plates with their figures.

Hi! Tony.
Excellet muscle beauty! !
the display is also excellent.
I think a wonderful masterpiece.
I congratulate completion.

He turned out great, especially the shield. I really like the round turned base a lot, it really makes for a great presentation.

Hi Mitsutaka, thank you for your very generous comments my friend. I'm very pleased you like it.

Hi Alexandros, thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them.

Hi Mike, thanks for your comments mate. The wooden base is a $1 piece of pine from the local hardware store. With an oil stain it looks quite effective as a base. I'm glad you like it.

Hi Joe, thanks mate, that was the look I was hoping to achieve. I'm pleased you think I've done that.

Hi Jason, thanks for your comments mate. I'm pleased you like the shield. The helmet was so heavy and bulky it would need a strong neck to wear in combat. Not only would it be hot and heavy to wear, the lack of visibility would hamper your efforts to prevent your opponent attacking.

Hi Andrew, thanks very much for your comments mate,I do appreciate them. I'm glad you liked the shield, it does tell a story doesn't it?

Hi Gunter, thank you. I appreciate your comments.

G'day Jamie, thanks once again mate. Judging from what I've seen of your work lately, I should be the one coming to you for a lesson.

Hi Stefano, thank you very much for your comments. I'm glad you liked the way it turned out.

Hi Guy, thanks mate, I'm pleased you liked the way this figure turned out. Sadly Seil kits are getting rarer and rarer now, but there are still a few gems tucked away in Grey Armies around the Planet. I hope you give this one a try one day.
