While I like the subject I'm not sure about the kit - two swords? I'd love to see the references used... given we're not sure about some things historically the things we are sure of should be reproduced faithfully. Fullers aren't easy to do, but that's no excuse for doing them wrong!

Im actually a little bit disapointed with this release. The pose and face strike me more as a caricature. It looks like a fantasypiece?

Although I would like to remember that I heard about a berserk that thrown himself into the shieldwall striking blows to the left and to the right with a sword in each hand? I will get back if I find it.

I guess I am alone so far in liking this figure. I think it is a pretty cool pose. The only thing I don't like are the skulls on the base, this is what makes it "fantasy like" for me, but that is an easy fix. I would buy this figure.

Mike i m with you on this one. Although not sure about the historical accuracy this pose is very original, and originality should at least be given some recognition. Will definetely paint this one.

I don't mind the pose at all actually, given the subject. If I were in a buying mood I might even be tempted to get one (although I'd want to see the cast before making a final decision) but that sword blade would have to go!
