Walt, Correct me if I'm wrong did TR's son die not long after from a heart attack? Maybe it was another general.~GaryOriginally posted by whdamon@Mar 16 2005, 07:31 PM
Yes John, TR's Son was the 2nd CMH ( not CMO...what was i thinking). He did it as the oldest combat soldier landing in Normandy on D-Day...age 54.

John, When I do the othe arm for the Robert Rogers figure I'll go a little more in depth where sculpting the arm is concerned.~GaryOriginally posted by John Long@Mar 16 2005, 05:44 PM
I did Randy. I wrestled with the arms a bit. In the end, I wound up gluing them in place to pose it, and then cutting them off. I drilled all the way through the shoulder and placed a wire that stuck out of the shoulder. This allowed me to sculpt the arm in place, but still remove it to work on it and refine the sculpting in the inboard part of the arm. It wasn't a perfect process and I would entertain suggestions on doing this easier.
