Is anyone working on completing this bust...or have a finished one? I have one on my bench and am looking for some actual references as to how others have approached painting this one.

Hi lock-n-load,
Obviously if you google the name you will come up with lots but as I did the review I would fill the eyes in , make painting easier , future releases will not have eyes like this , then dry check for the fit which was very good on the review , then paint with arms but no weapons , then head/helmet and then fit weapons and ancillaries.
Anything particular uniforms wise then I am sure someone will know ...put a thread in the references section

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I know my question was somewhat vague...but I was simply looking for some "inspiration" as to what others may have done with this specific kit. I have secured several references for Marine uniforms of this vintage, and several images of John Basilone, specifically.
But more generally......are others modifying the helmet? Leaving it "as is" and painting it green? Scratchbuilding a camo cover? Thats really what I was looking for.
