No surprise, except perhaps that Ireland went out so soon.

It was clear in tonight's game that SA were still feeling the effects of the intensity of the France match, 'Bore'thwick's negative game plan almost got England through, which sadly means there will probably be more of it in the near future.

Glad for the game that 2 sides who want to run and score trys are in the showpiece final, I hope the weather plays it's part and handling conditions are good.

So England got Bronze - who's have thought it? Great first twenty minutes, then a slug & scrapfest. At least there were a handful or tries to liven the proeedings. Passing the ball often seems to yield results, but so many players suffer from 'white line-itis' when they get near the try line and attempt to go it alone instead of passing........... Final tonight - Southern Hemisphere teams again.

On balance, I like how the tournament went.
SA's diverse team (with two Leicester players on the pitch) got my vote on final night.
