Well, last time I posted I'd just started the armor panels around his waist. Since then I've done a lot of work. I added the remaining two panels and finished them. I then started to attach the remaining equipment including his swords and quiver. This weekend I finally attached his left hand with the bow, strung the bow, and added the arrows to the quiver. The bow and arrows still need painting, but he's getting very very close to being finished. The last big hurdle is going to be his base. Hopefully I can come up with something good!

Superb painting and a good example of why I have never attempted to paint a Samurai. This requires an artistic skill level that I know I just don't have and can only admire.

Yep, like the guy's have all rightly mentioned, brilliant paintwork on a beautiful figure. Definitely a mantle piece topper in my book.
