Hello all. I'm hoping someone can help me with an SS officer's uniform. I'm currently working on Pegaso's SS officer bust (kit #200-003). This is a departure from my usual subject matter and I dont know much about German uniform particulars. The box art shows the collar of the officer's jacket is the same color as the rest of the jacket. The little bit of research I've done indicates the collar should be a dark greeen. Is one or the other correct or is it one of those situations where either one could be correct depending on the unit, year, etc.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jason!!

Whats going on Buddy!

Good to see you found it to the planet.

Regarding the collar, it depends on what year the coat was made. The early war uniforms had the darker collars while the later war ('42 and on I think) had the same color on the colar as the rest of the uniform.

Im sure there will be more knowledgable people who chime in on this as well.

Looking forward to see the bust painted!!

If I'm not mistaken that bust represent an officer in the late years of the war. Take a look at my v-bench. The photos of my version should still be there. If not I'll send you some pics
