Good job Daniel. It can be seen quite well as you say, the difference between the ochre white of the uniform and the pure white of the gaiters.

Thanks Edu,actually the gaiters i used light pale blue from vallejo as a base color,pure white for lights and black/grey for shadows.

Some time ago I also added a little blue to white, but now only use gray for shadows, very light gray for the medium and pure white for the lights.

Great painted figure Daniel!
The whites are very nice. And for my feeling the face is lacking a bit contrast compared to the rest of the figure.

thanks Marcel,yes,i think the face lack contrast but i was afraid of going too far.
Course i can always add some "washes" to it but all and all i am happy.
