Beard is great, blond ain't the easiest hair colour. The helmet looks interesting, lots of detail will look great when painted.

Cheers Simon

Looking good so far, is there a difference approach with using the Scale 75 colours.

I kinda use the same approach. What really helps me with effiency and time is the coverage and density of Scale Artist paints. These scale paints does not take up any water from the palette keeping the density of the paint and keeps a pretty strong coverage. They tend to get chalky after 24 hours so I always recommend checking and diluting with care through the next painting sessions.
Note: beard was based with Scale Artist paint and painted with AK paints.

Loving the blue trousers and I'm looking forward to seeing how you do the hauberk/jacket. Not sure how you keep the vice so clean though!

Cheers Simon

By being careful :D Jokes aside, I always use longer, drilled in wires so the figure is further from the vice. It will be like this for an eternity since I recently started to use a custom made handle so this is just for storing the figure in the cabinet between sessions.

Looking great as you proceed, are the legs Oils over acrylics.
TERRY

Nope, although they totally look like that was the method. Black primer, then grey primer as zenithal highlights and a lot of light prussian blue glazes. After a solid blue hue I strenghtened the highlights with the same color (with more paint on the brush), then added lighter blue. This a new technic for me, not sure I like the end result so far...

Hi JH

Now it's clicking together , like the choice of blue for trousers , leathers coming along as well

Thanks for sharing the updates

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime
