I've literally just finished painting this bust, and I have to say how much fun it was to paint.
Nap again is kindly going to add the photos for me shortly.

Having not painted anything in this scale before, I tried not to overdo the detail, as I thought it may spoil it.
Not sure whether that has worked or not.
I've ordered the same bust in a smaller scale to what I can achieve by painting the face in acrylics.

I think it's worked well. The flesh tones in particular have a lot of depth without being overdone. Like I said in the WIP, there's no hiding place in this scale, so subtlety is probably the best way to approach it.

You're absolutely right, there's no hiding place in this scale, even though I tried to keep all the tones subtle and wanted to make it look as lifelike as possible,
I found the need to go back and add some more of the finer details, which I think enhanced the finish a little.
