The light of day has arrived ..sort of!!

I wasn't happy fully with the WSO result so played around mixing it with P3 Thamar Black....result hs now a slightly velvety look IMO ...very slight sheen

Also added a shirt collar just peeking out from the waistcoat which also has a collar underneath the mess jacket collar !

Update now painted the shirt cuffs next up is the face ....

Our officer is currently wrapped up in cling film and tissue to protect the elbows etc from knocks/ natural oils from my fingers!

Al facings finished , a slight sheen to simulate the velvet

Small update , re basecoated the hands and hsve been working on the jacket edging ...on the highs of the patten , tiny touches of off white

All thelacework took close on 12 hours......

in between holding my breath and various mutterings

....nearly there now ..will probably push the yellow highs a little more

Nice one and good choice , I have the Madras here on my shelf next to bench ..so will be watching closely when you do that .

The other is sat tidy in the GA ..thinking about it ,there's a lot of potential for a Yeomanry conversion in that ?
