Robin , that's a nice topic you started. Well , as with me I'm deep into producing masters at the moment. I just finished that Carabiniere MSU ( posted ) and am half way into another carabiniere for the same clients( will post ). As soon as I'm done with this one ( and I'm late ) I have to start a master for another Italian firm. So as you can see not much painting for me at the moment. Ahhhh.... now I remember. I have to paint a 54mm figure for the painting competition of our upcoming show soon !!!

Hi everybody!

I'm painting my second figure. It's a British Ranger 1758 from El Viejo Dragón. The face by now went ok for my standars but I'm having quite a lot of trouble painting his coat. I don't know if it's because green is a difficult colour to paint(Is it?) or I'm just not able to do it :( . Anyway I think the modelling of the wrinkles is a bit confusing, detail should be a little more crisp (Or maybe it's an excuse of mine . Any of you guys know this figure? The first one I painted was Andrea's Mohawk(the pointing one) and I recall paintig his coat at the third atempt.
(I've removed the paint off at least four times in the Ranger's coat).

If they bring me my new camera this week I'll send you some fotos of both of them. Meantime HELP!

Hasta la vista amigos.
