My third figure....I will need your help here! I ve already painted his armor and the leather ''skirt''... Feel free to suggest-judge in order to improve it...Thank you in advance....
I am really sorry for the bad taken photos, but my means here are limited...
Be subtle with the burnt umber wash, though. The polished bronze metallic finish on the cuirass is pretty good - take care that you don't lose that.
Of course the choice of colours for your figure is entirely yours, and I do realise that the example painted figure on the Pegaso Miniatures website shows dark brown pteruges (the floppy strips that you have called a "skirt") but in reality they are almost always shown as white on coloured images from the ancient world - especially on leaders and officers. They were most likely made of padded linen, or leather covered in linen. Both Greek and Roman art follow the same convention. As an example, here is an ancient fresco showing the typical outfit for a leader (or a hero or a god):

Anyway, the choice of colour is entirely up to you. I just thought this might be of interest. I am very new to this forum. I hope offering colour hints like this is alright.
He is allready looking good.
But as suggest above more definiton on the cuirass will do him good. It looks flat this way.
The pteruges need some more darker shade (sepia) at the lower ends. That will give more depth.
