Thanks all.

George. The cloak was textured using a stippling motion with the paint brush when painting the highlights. As I procress with the weathering the woolen look will become more pronounced. Hardy

Hi,

Really great work so far.

I especially like how you paint different textures, it gives your figures an unique touch and let´s them look almost alive.

I hope to make it to Euro this year and see it in person.

Thank´s alot for sharing,
cheers, Simon.

Thanks all.

Thank you Hardy. I'll give it a try. Now we wait for the completion of your masterpiece!

Orange Hardy? The colour is described in historical documents as scarlet, red, crimson and even purple, but never orange!

Nice to see you using more real metallics, but a high polish would have been the order of the day. It's well documented in period writings; the armour could be used as a mirror for example.

Hi Einion looks red on my monitor and of course my eyes. As to the high polish yes, saving that for the shield. Thanks for looking. Hardy
