Well this took a little longer but he is now done. After adding the button to the left shoulder and the patch of bear fur (grizzly) to the bonnet.
He is now finished. Hope you like it, it was a lot of fun to paint and of course research.:happy:

That looks great like the bear addition ....where did you see this ?

As for the button , I presume they had epaulettes on both so I might add one but hanging loose?

Like these pieces great sculpt .

Nap,
I did some research on Google and came up with this guy an Artist called Randy Steele, he photographed re enactments in the Penn state area of the States. The photo is used for information purposes only and To cut a long story short, Steve Ettinger (a member on here) used to re enact the period. He gave me the heads up about the button on the shoulder. It was used to loop the end on the great kilt to the shoulder.
Thank you for the comment and coming from you is very much appreciated. Acording to my refs they only wore one epaulette.
