Thanks for comment ....works no the green darker atm using Angel Green with a tiny touch of black ...need to not go too dark I think for overall look

Have fun then with the hat, rather you than me.
The painting is looking good, might want to take some of the chroma out of the green as it's not a very reflective cloth. Shame as it's a lovely green but you want it accurate.

Thank you for the comments , the chroma is out ! ....once the light gets better will post a piccy or two of the green.......nicely Matt as well so a happy teddy bear
Here’s the colours I used
Base 1
Gradual build up with 1&2
Shadows 1&2 plus a touch of 3
Highs 4
Plenty of washes in amongst things as well
....just need to do the arms now ....and fit them and confirm .....then there’s those delicious hat decorations

But as a small break from green I’m going to paint the medal ribbon

How to calm Kev down in one easy move, give him medal ribbons to paint.
Where do you get the P3 paints from, I haven't seen them around in years, or is it old stock? Also must get some Angel Green cos it's ace

Greetings.
Looking Good. Do I see that you have painted the crown of the Busby Rifle Green. As you transferred him into some fish & tater mob, should it not be black.
Was tempted to tell you when you had painted the braiding but was worried that you may have a heart attack.

I have painted it green or will be as more to do like ADD BRAIDING .....just saying
Looking at this ref it’s green or a faded green compared to the decoration
......I think !No comment ref ribbon young Sir ? ...liking the splash of colour

PHEW!!!!!!! thats was close ..thanks for getting back ....just a matter of adding a “little” bit of lacing ....
The plan is to roll a thin basic shaping and use a needle to “ suggest “ the details enough ...

SI don't know much about uniforms. Colors are always a problem, for dark green I like to use olive green mixed with a bit of black or very dark green. But I think my comment is a bit late, you handled this color very well on your own. Well done Kev.
