Thank you your comments really appreciated....(y). Working to a finish now .....Mike

Hi all.

Finally had the courage to bring the two main parts of this fabulous recent release.

Had to make it one figure as I have previously painted the two main parts separately...But had to find the right angles for shading and highlighting for the completion .

I picked this up recently from Stuart at Stormtroopers at the White Rose show at Easingwold near York. Fabulous day out.

Thanks for looking and will post the finished bust soon.

Very nice Mike,I’ve just started this one,I like your choice of colours for the blanket roll

I wanted to assemble the arm and the flag to the bust and there... The left hand doesn't touch, so I'm going to add some magic sculpt to make the connection! Did you have this concern?

Hi there glad to hear you are progressing with your version...I didn't have too much problem with the fit of the arm to the body and the fit of the hands to the other arm.....I did several dry runs of fitting the two pieces to ensure a good fit. I did remove some small pieces of resin left after the casting process which isn't unusual. I also removed some resin from the torso and bedroll again making it a snug fit this won't be seen under the flag once fitted...keep persevering it will come good...but you may have to use a small bit of filler.....all the best Mike

Problem solved. We must not put the pole of the flag before laying the whole otherwise on thickness and offset of the hand
