Outstanding work, Dave! Thanks for sharing your progress photos!
You mention the drying time for oils, and if I may offer a tip, if you want to accelerate the drying time, applying gentle heat-warmth, really-can help. I use a plain ol' 60w incandescent bulb in an old gooseneck desk lamp. Others go a little further and use a drying box built specially for this purpose. Still others use crock pots on the lowest settings. I'm sure other Planeteers can offer good suggestions, too.
Looking forward to your next update!
Prost!
Brad

Fantastic work on the base and building. I've been collecting 1/16 British Paras with a view of combining them I a Arnhem 1944 diorama, and have saved the pictures of your work as an inspiration and reference for my future attempt.
The weathering on the StuG is superb too.

Okay, time for an update and an apology, sorry no new photos of the crew men.
I have the heads left to paint and it's the faces that make or break a figure and I do tend to put that off until the end, maybe next time I should start there instead.
I've finished off all of the stowage for the rear of the Stug, no, I haven't done it all since the last instalment, most of it was done quite a while back, it just needed finishing off.
So here's some more pictures, please be patient with me, I promise that there will be some figure painting to look at one day soon.

I want to give a shout out to Steve at Reedees miniatures for the lovely MP40's he supplied me, there's one just visible inside and the second one is on the crate, the seated figure will be sat next to it (once I get his head done!)

Henk, have you got any photos of the 1/16th paras?
I'm always looking for nice figures, for me, it can be the thing that inspires the whole diorama.
