Shading done. I'm trying to get a Cry Havoc character piece appearance.
Photography, impatience and laziness aren't great bedfellows.
I'll try harder when this fella is finished.

What Kev said about the shading, impatience indeed that was a master class in thr patient application of soft subtle a bloody effective shading. Loving this one mate it's a cracker.

Highlights start early-doors tomorrow

Listening to this album for the first time in what must be almost forty years.
It's gorgeous. So glad it occurred to me to play it.

Did a bit more highlighting this morning (and had an "Oh my GOD!" moment when I checked my watch and realised I should be at the doc's - no harm done).
Too gradual a change in tone to show on a photo yet.

I wasn't happy with the shoes (too bright), so they got a wash with Tamiya Smoke. Some matt varnish will take the shine off tomorrow.

They look like soggy leather alright and I thought the old army DMS boots were bad.
