Confession:
I sinned yesterday, and bought a 1/48 Nieuport 11 (Bébé).
A winter project, cos I can build it in the spare bedroom and not freeze during December and January.
And it's a change of pace from shading, highlighting, blending.

Thou art forgiven .....LOL.....get a nice pilot or ground crew to go with it ...but more importantly just ENJOY

Happy benchtime

Thanks guys
It's an over-exposed photo, but I needed the attention (!!)
I'm not happy with the face yet.
Chilblains are receding into memory now, thanks Simon.
I hope you are OK?

Good to David, can't work properly with sore and painful.fingers. Good idea regarding the winter project no point joining the brass monkeys if you don't have to.

I'm not too bad, not getting much done due to lack of sleep but hoping to have some reasonable progress by the end of the week.

Cheers Simon

The weekend is coming.
Be Prepared.
(Just spotted my reflection in the bottles; 007 would probably be able to track me down from those)

Winter 24/25 is sorted (when I get some aftersales extras).
Normal service is now resumed.

Rather an interesting looking aircraft, got to admit to not having made a model aircraft since my age was marked in single digits. Is this going to be a case of aftermarket extras costing more than the kit, that I have done fairly recently!

Cheers Simon

Yes, it's looking that way.
But hopefully it'll be a jolly project.

An "interesting" choice of kit shall we say.... I'm pretty certain it's based on the 1961 Aurora kit, incredibly basic and really lacking in detail. Nowehere near today's standard of kits. The Eduard Nieuport 11 in 1/48 would be a much better choice. I wouldn't waste any money on aftermarket extras, just get the Eduard kit. You won't really need any aftermarket extras then.....;)
