Work in progress... I finally get to sit still
(Cognac)

Now that sounds like a great modelling session, liquid creativity always smoothes the path.

Cheers Simon
I had the house to myself.
Minor domestic emergency revealed upon my return from work, involving local A&E, eventually resolved, and followed by a large brandy after the text messages turned positive.
Parenthood, eh? Endless worrying.

Yeah and endless expense, youngest has just been accepted into Uni in Leuven in Belgium for his masters, coming after 2 weddings in 2 years for the older ones. Gonna have to sell a kidney or 2 to afford this! Hope all is OK with your family.

Cheers Simon

Oh blimey!
That's gonna sting....

As they say, 'life's a bitch and then you die', oh well a good education will help in the inevitable zombie apocalypse, oh wait it's started with smart phones!

Having fortified myself with a bacon and egg sandwich; the right arm is glued in position, after much trimming and eventually cutting the lug off altogether so it hangs in the correct position.
The attachment of both arms has involved much to-ing and fro-ing, and will need some filler around their attachment points.

Nice looking figure, still not sure I'd be comfortable with that much armour so I'll be watching and learning. Good looking bow, an interesting hobby but I think I'd prefer an SLR or better yet a gimpy!

Cheers Simon

Arm/torso gaps filled.
The right arm and slung helmet pose a challenge, since the former didn't sit on the latter very well at all. A mistake I'll have to live with.
I think this lad is going to be fun to paint, though.

The model's a little crude, but as Briggsy says: lots of variety here, which makes painting enjoyable.
He's going to be DIRRRTY......

The figure, that is; not Simon.
