Thanks everyone. Believe it or not, the flesh base coat is almost done.
Once all the basics are finished, it'll be time to make him dirrrrty.....

Good going David, I would say something about getting dirty but I've had a few brands already so must be restrained. Looking forward to the next stage.

Gorgeous George is edging closer to shading.
Just a bit of matt varnish to slap onto the metallic bits first.

(That's not the portrait I'm working from)

You only be in bother if he punches someone and ruins a great series otherwise good stuff.

Cheers Simon
Thanks.
I have two figs in the display cabinet that look like old colleagues from my local authority days. It's always nice to see how faces turn out. Best part of this hobby.
Hopefully this one will still look like Jez when it's done.

The only figures whose face I recognise is that of the late Sid Horton, funnily enough on Chota Sahib figures!

Cheers Simon

This should be in brackets: just bought a couple of figures.
This one, made by "The Bodi", was on EBay...

WW2 is a very rare subject for me, but this pirate was too good to pass over.
Their range looks interesting. Lots of characters and some unusual subjects: refreshing.

Hopefully the paint won't freeze before you apply it, enjoy. Also like the 'pirate' you got, thoroughly despicable looking character, just as he should be.

Cheers Simon

Nice the face is really full of character with just an initial shade, but yeah time to stop you can't paint shivering the brush moves too much

Cheers Simon
