Beautiful Work Roc. I have this kit but have been troubled by the mounting to the base and the edging. You seem to have done an excellent job with it.........may have to bring mine out.

Hello Roc
I missed some broken Ice, or get I wrong?

Or some splashed Water (do you understand my english?)
And the metal look is very nice.
How you did it?

Hey Stepnen,
I understand you perfectly,You are right It would have looked more realistic if I would have added more broken ice and perhaps some water splashing.
Thanks for the advice all try to do better next time.

For the metal I used a new teqnique,at least for me it is new.
undercoat = Polly s black.
Base = Rub and buff pewter with a bit of raw umber for the base
Medium shadow = base + ivory black.
Deep shadows = Ivory black.

I didn't add a sealer ,because I wanted to achieve a tarnished look.

Roc.

Hi Roc

It looks really good! The metalics don't jump out at you which, IMHO, is a good thing!
