Ladies and Gentelmen, finally finished the Chasseur, still needs some touch ups , extreme shadows and highlights.

Next I will do the groind work, any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hi Roc,
good painting.
If mistake is not an old piece Poste Militaire.
In this moment also I am painting a chasseurs of the imperial guard in 54mm.

Hello Roc,
Nice painting and right colours. Only a detail, for the precision. The snap hook of the carbine belt did not lock at the trigger, but at a little bar situated on the side of the carbine, that I don't see. And the little white belt usually did not catch the butt, but just a little forward, near the trigger, to balance better the carbine and keep it near the body of the man.
Ciao Rocco, buon lavoro ;)

Thanks Dave, you are too kind, thanks for following this slow and at times boring step by step.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

John thnaks, I appreciate the kind words.

You are right Mr. Lamb the scultor has captured a proud and fearless soldier.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Marc my dear friend, thanks for all your encouragement and kind words, they really help.

The Chasseur being the third Napoleonicfigure that I ever painted did present some difficulties, but in the end patience and perseverence helped me finish the figuure.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Maurizio, you are correct, this is a very old 90mm Poste Militaire figure, sculkpted by Ray Lamb's talented hands many years ago.

It's amazing how those old kits continue to maintain their charm even by today's high standards.

Ciao
Roc :)
