Marcello, many thanks for the compliment, I value your input very much.
You are right about the snap hook of the carbine and the little white belt, but unfortunately that is the way the sculptor intended it too be.
He omitted the little bar on the side of the trigger.

As soon as I have some time I will definitely make the corrections you suggested.

Ciao
Roc :)

Hey Roc,
Now I understood because I don't see the little bar. It's probably on the other side of the carbine, you have put the gun wrong, the trigger goes towards the back of the soldier, not forward.
Ciao
Marcello

Marcello, adesso ho capito, ti ringrazio molto.

E' buono avere un amico che e' un esperto sull'era Napoleonica.

Ciao e mille grazie
Roc.

Beautiful work Roc, just beautiful. I love seeing these older pieces being done up right. Thanks for the treat

Nice one Roc. This figure is showing it's age now, but you've rendered it beautifully and it's one to be justly proud of. I especially like the sabretache.
Top stuff as usual mate!

Christos, thank you very much, your kind words are encouraging.

Later on the day I will post more pictures with the ground work finished.

Cheers
Roc, :)
