Coming along nicely Steve (y)

If I may....a green or blue wash on the metal may be a better choice....as it will add better depth...and create an aged patina.....IMHO

Ron
Cheers Ron am planning that for the lower parts of the metal for that very reason (y)

That is looking much better now mate, metals and transitions are working nicely, agree with Ron regarding blue or green wash (y)

Steve

Cheers Steve, yeah the plan for the metal bit, is to have that also going new to old, so the the bright bit just needs to be slightly less coppery and then shading down to old bronze.
Steve

Bit more done, metals toned down and face more or less done. Work on the rifle started. As ever all comments welcome.

Very nice technique and a great interpretative piece. I've seen this figure previously and am glad to know it's Mitche's Military Models. I would like to acquire the figure and was wondering if you could provide me with a reliable source. I've tried to access Mitche's web site, but my browser will not permit access as it indicates accessing the listed site is a security issue (I've tried 3 different browsers, plus the link through your post, and all indicate the same). Thank you.

Looks like there's a problem with the site yes. They're members here try pming MMM as that's the PF log in. Thanks for your words
