Hi fellow Planeteers.

Knowing what a caring society we all are I'd like to inform you all that our good friend and true gentleman Rick Brownlee, also well known here as the Kansas Kid, has injured his shoulder playing sport. Now Rick is not a young man anymore and this injury is getting him down. Not least because he can't paint and has trouble using the internet because of the pain.

I thought it would be nice if we could all send our best wishes on to Rick to show him that we care. I am in regular contact with him but unfortunately live thousands of miles away. If any of you guys live closer I'm sure he'd love to hear from you.

Best wishes Rick. Hope you're feeling better soon.
Your mate John.

Jazz ,

Well done on posting this shows that PF is a caring community as well as a bunch of great modellers ....whatever we each do .

Best wishes

Rick

Wishing you a speedy recovery, so you can resume your painting.
A playstation or Xbox may be the answer to playing sport, less likely to get injured.
That's how I keep fit nowadays.

Hey hey ........ good for you Rick, there's something pretty cool about a post-retiral sports injury (y)
Hope the recovery is quick and painless.
Cheers

Oh my goodness, Fellow Planeteers. I am overwhelmed.
Thank you so much, each one of you for your thoughts and
kind words. I am really touched by what ladies and gentlemen
reside on this wonderful modeling site.
Jazz, a.k.a. John Scott, sent me an e-mail telling me to check out
the Lounge Forum. o_O Sheeeesch, I didn't even know there
is a Lounge Forum. Gosh, if there was just an 8 year old kid
in my neighborhood who could come in and show me how
to use a computer! On the 9th of Sept. I tore a tendon in my
left shoulder playing Pickleball. I'm left handed and have been
playing Pickleball for 5 years. Chippy tells me they are now
playing Pickleball in the UK. We are going to start with
physical therapy and go from there. But I can not get in
to see the Orthopedic Surgeon until 12 October. But I'm
not in any pain unless I move my left arm the wrong way.
My warm wishes to each you. And thanks again,

Rick Brownlee, in Heartland America, Kansas City
