Hello Gary and Pedro:
Oh my friends, it is so good of you to post here your good
wishes for the old Jayhawker. I'm into my late 70s(78 yrs.) . . . and I only mention
that because you young folks have not had to deal with high cholesterol,
high blood pressure, and a blood count that pushes toward diabetes.
So for me a strict diet and lots of exercise it the way to keep healthy.
My 44 year old daughter, who lives in Phoenix expects her dad to
be around for quite some time. So the physical exercise is very important.
Ha ha hah . . . . you guys got all this to look foward to. But, nevertheless,
I do so appreciate your comments and concern. It means so much to this
old Jayhawker, , , , Rick
Hi Rick,
Hope your recovering quickly, I think you need to have a back up plan just in case, maybe pracrice with holding a brush between your teeth first and when you're feeling confident with that try the toes next left or right which ever feels more comfortable. Now this is just some friendly advice and I don't normally like to preach but my wife and I as well as a number of work colleagues have been amazed at our improvement of our overall health, weight loss just by researching etc. If you get a chance, please check out the dietdoctor.com, it's no gimmicks just information about improving your wellbeing.
All the best
Chris.

Thanks to each of you, fine folks for your good wishes. Your
response to John Scott's original Lounge forum post has been
quite overwhelming. I do appreciate it so much. My good
wishes to each of you, and thank you once again, with
a special thanks to a special person, Jazz. . . . Rick

Hi Rick

It's been a while since I've checked in to pF so my apologies for being tardy in sending you my best wishes and hopes for a speedy recovery. Sounds like a ridiculously silly way for a silly old fart to injure himself. Get better Jayhawker

Hi Rick

Wishing you a speedy recovery. I hope that you are soon back to normal and beavering away at your bench.

Meanwhile use the time to catch up on reading and sci-fir films.

All the best

Huw
