A great job on this piece which I said I'm prepping as we speak.I may have to steal your color on the plume.As far as the base goes;..you are probably right;...I'm thinking that lean to his right gives the feeling that he is actually stealing the sword and hauling ass.
Hope mine turns out at least half as good as yours...............Very nice job...................Wayne

It is the simplest way first polish the metal, then apply a bit of Ink (so being deposited in the reliefs) again polish and apply glossy varnish. Thank you all for the comments

This is such a great bust. Reminds me of a young Vincent Price. Some very good painting here. It spurs me on to buying this bust. Superb.
