A web site worth checking out is The Modelling News . I don't know who runs this site and this is not an interactive site so no input or feed back from visitors . What you get is regular input of new releases on kits ranging from tanks to figures (plenty of figures ) I know there are quite a few members who also build tanks and planes on this site so check it out . There are several in depth builds of new releases

Been looking at The Modelling News for about 3 years now, & I concur wholeheartedly. I particularly like the clear photography, & the in-depth figure reviews.

Their reviews showing unpainted assembly are goood..as are the fairly detailed open book stuff..they may not do everything, but what they do is well done- I saw the stuff on an AK book on aircraft of Spanish Civial War..and am now tempted

Good site, but they do not answer emails. 5 manufacturers that I personally know and myself have been sending them messages and new releases straight to their emails and on FB for over 1 year and not a single response or a single release posted on their web site.

You will always get a reply from me Jose if I can help or if it's ref a PF matter ......maybe they have a issue with their Spam folders or have too much on so choose not to always reply ...you coukd contact PF members to do reviews and announcements as well

Just had a look over some of the articles on the blog. Lots of images taken from companies web sites but no photos of the products in hand. Personally you can only review something so far from photos. You really need the retail product in hand to review.

Hi Steve How are you mate , a long time since we chatted . I'm fine and things are pretty OK although it looks like I'm going to be pretty busy for the next few months , I'm helping a mate prepare part of his small holding for camping site for the summer . My youngest son wants a me to make an Office for my daughter in law / sun lounge / spare guest room in their garden and last but not lest I need to make a new shed for myself and this time I have to incorporate a green house onto it for Jackie . Bugger who said retirement was easy .
