Recently Der Bunte Rock released a 75mm "The Oldtimer" depicting an American Mountain Man. The kit is in white matel and has a square resin base.

The kit comes in a medium grade cardboard box with the parts contained in a sealed zip-lock baggie. It is then sandwiched between two layers of foam for protection.

Above we see the four sides of the torso with the Mountain Man in a blanket Capote. The arms are cast separately.

The above head is cast separately and comes with optional hats that can be used.

Above are the front and back views of the arms. Each arm had casting blocks that I removed from the shoulder to check the arms for fit. There was a locater hole for each arm that had to be drilled out for the peg of each arm to fit into.

Above is the front and back of the rifle in its deerskin cover. The right hand is cast to the rifle cover and dryfitted good into the recess of the arm.

The top photo is the separately cast powder horn and the bottom photo shows the resin base supplied with the kit.

Conclusion:
An excellent kit of an American Mountain Man. Some clean-up of casting blocks needed to get proper fitment. Recommended.

That's a really nice figure. I like the first head. Give's me more feeling with the figure.

I thought that was yours Anders but I wasn't 100% positive. Great sculpt.
