To my surprise I've completed The Sacking of Panama sooner than expected.
Thank you to you all for looking in and giving me encouragement.
Hope you like the end result.

Finally huge thanks to all at TFB miniatures for producing such
a fantastic vignette to paint.
I enjoyed it from start to finish.

Wonderful vignette, it has been great watching it come together.
Thankfully it is not available in 54mm or I would probably end up picking it up based on what you have done with it, really well done.

Fantastic job Malc, it’s been a absolutely great journey watching this come to life as it has. Hats off to you for bringing it to life. It’s always good to know that you have had so much pleasure in doing this.

I see the peice of Eight we sent you works well on the base just adds to it I think.

Well as you now set sail from Panama, we wish you a safe voyage to your next project destination, now is the time to finish the rum!!!

Had fun painting the piece of eight too, I tried to make it look old, and then added a little gold ink with a sponge for effect.
Thank you again for sending it to me, as you say, it adds to the overall effect.
I agree, I'll celebrate with a tot of rum.

I'm really looking forward to Snik's thread as he decends upon Panama.

Nap

Hi Nap
Glad you like it.
The base has been given a coat of powders to give it a dry dusty effect, that may explain why it doesn't look effective in the photo.

Malc

I think nap means the wooden base it looks like it the edge is missing. Hope that helps.

Ah, I see what Nap means, although I did find a spot that I'd missed to paint Oooops.
As for the wooden base, I quite like it with the imperfection, thought it added a bit of character.

Malc

Hi Malc yer it adds that rustic look or drift wood, what ever you have done a great job on it well done .

Thank you Steve for all the support and encouragement you've given me on my journey to Panama.
It was a fantastic trip. As I've mentioned before, enjoyable from start to finish.
I'm keeping an eye on future releases that float my boat.

Malc
