I had a look and I have about 50 in the stash mostly Franco Prussian war, 2nd Empire figures/Busts. and about 4 on the work bench which I've started and will finish at some point. but just busy with Ellie's Miniatures at the moment.

I have quite a few Old Aroura Monster kits which I have kept in the boxes which I keep saying I'm going to sell but they remind me of my childhood so I think they will be staying. I also have a few Frog, Revel & airfix kits ( All Aircraft) which I've had for god knows how long in a box in the loft bought them and never did anything with them. Ho and a couple of wooden ships that I will one day have a crack at.

Cheers

Oh, hell, I wasn't even thinking of my scale model kit stash. That's up around 200 kits or so. Most of those are aircraft in 1/48, 1/72, and a couple of 1/32 kits, and ships in 1/700. And that's separate from my Maschinen Krieger kit stash, which is only around 30 or so, with about a dozen 1/20 figures or so.

Prost!

I've got approximately 60 busts and figures in the GA, and I probably wont build more than 10 of them. the rest will gather dust until I decide to buy a table of the next swap & sell.

I have almost 100 finished figures and busts in the display cabinet, so by comparison my GA is relatively modest.

I'm not a collector, I'm a painter so when I see something I want to paint I buy it. Sometimes by the time the bust or figure arrives in the post, I don't like it anymore and it goes straight into the GA without being opened or looked at.

I've got the GA down to about 45 and like Tony will probably only ever paint about 10, there's just so much good stuff coming out these days that take priority.
I don't display any of my work at all, they all go carefully into boxes and never see the light of day ........... should probably sell them :D

Here's mine.

It's a Limited Edition of 500 kits, depicting A Mounted Border Reiver looking up at a Crow on top of a gallows, by Malcolm Dawson. I got a Certificate saying this was No. 80. I think it was the 1st. or 2nd. limited piece they did. Ray xxxx

Like Paul (PeeDee) I tend to accumulate kits and I guess I've started 160 figures /busts / flats and got about the same number in stock. To make it worse I also like AFVs and have about 100 in stock. Most of my stock is geared towards several projects requiring many figures pluse buts and flats to support the main display... enough said.

I also collect books and ride choppers. Choppers means a stock of motorcycle parts so the new possibility of gettign a new second hand car means reordering my garage as if it happens it is bigger than my existing jelopy... spent 3 hours in the garage with a tape measure the other evening....

Thanls to everyone who makes me feel normal - especially the talk of IPMS people with hourse full.

Cheers

I got a Hinchliffe 75mm Bersgalieri, which will undergo some surgery and I was given the Hofi Musketeer by the old guy who had all the Roll Call stuff for sale. Again, it will undergo some surgery - I have a reputation at our club for never making anything straight from the box!(y)

I am interested in accomplishing a figure conversion and require your help.
if I can get this done correctly it will mean a quick end to my grey army and could also help with yours.

So, here's the idea and the inspiration.

I can get myself adapted in one to one scale like this but with an assortment of tools and brushes in order that I can produce a number of kits at a time.
Obviously tweezers and a dremel will be involved...any other ideas for the best tool options are welcomed.
