Hello John: Wow, this is really looking great. And it really
does look like you. How you were able to make the cam skarf
out of Milliput is a mystery to me. BTW, I am not familiar
with the term Cam Skarf. I'm eager to see more. (y)

Rick

Thanks Rick. Cam scarf was a material we used to assist with camouflage. All it is a length of green netted material similar to a thick string vest. You could attach foliage to it and cover yourself easily to stay hidden in the field. Many of us also used it to make scarfs which was handy when riding a motorcycle.

Hello Steve: Oh my, it was so kind of you to explain just
what a cam skarf is. And of course, the photo you
included really did bring the meaning home.
Thanks again, that was so kind. (y)

I had a lot of fun converting and painting this one. I know its vain, but what the hell. This is one bust that I am sure will be passed down my family through the generations.
I hope you like it (me). Feel free to comment. Please, no ugly jokes. I've heard them all before.

Lovely work, and yes! agreed it is a great likeness. Very well done.(y) ...

I would love to see it again by the 3rd generation .. You probably would have acquired an 'eye-patch' on one eye, with eye-liner and mascara on the other and some lippy to finish it off!:D

But as it stands today! .. Great work.

Regards,

Mark.

Thanks guys, Mark, you're probably right. In about fifty years my bust will be "Mad old Uncle John!" Thank goodness I won't be around to see it.
Jazz.

Beautiful result...and I've gotta say again, this is a great idea....well done, Jazz.

My good mate PeeDee saw me at the Wombourne show with this last Sunday and ever since then he has been pestering me to put on a selfie with my little creation. So here it is.

My apologies to everyone on Planet Figure for displaying such an ugly piece of work, but the bust turned out ok.
Best wishes to all, John

Jazz.
So pleased you posted the selfie, I'd have been looking for a bloke with a droopy tash at Euro to say hello to.:D

THats a shame. I will try my very best to enjoy, not sure I will enjoy the ear bashing from her in doors when she looks at the bank statement. DEEP JOY
Take care
