Nicely done. Colourful piece, almost a hang over of the Napoleonic era. Like how you did the green of the jacket, I always have problems with greens.
Congratulations.

Many thanks Mel, it was a long hangover from the Napoleonic era, they started WW1 in similar uniforms, same colours without the lace. I also have problems painting green, more so with Vallejo paints as I always get a shine. I have moved over to Scale 75 paints as they have a much flatter finish, especially using matt acrylic varnish, Mig Matt Lucky Varnish. Also using reds again Scale 75, for the shading as they are complimentary colours it works well both ways, but keep the mixes thin and control the application ie glazing or very controlled layering. The highlights are slight using small amounts of yellow. It's also best I have found to do it over two or three sessions, well that is how I'm doing it now! I have quite a few figures with horrible greens on them.

Cheers Simon
