It's been quite a journey, a very enjoyable one at that, even though it threw a few challenges at me.
It's finally complete, and I have to say I'm quite happy with the result, I know there's areas that I would have liked to have been done better,
but that's me being my own worst critic.

Lovely work Malc, nice use for a banksea pod.
Melanie
Hi Melanie.

I've had the Banksia pod around for a while, I had intended to use it for something else, but thought
it suited this bust very well.
Think I have another piece laying around.....somewhere.

Fantastic, that has turned out really well. I like the addition of the verdigris on the telescope. It was definitely worth pushing through the challenges you encountered on the way, this is a great piece.

Thanks Nigel.

I can't take credit for the verdigris, that was Simon's idea.
It also goes to show how good the forum is, with the input and advice from other members.
