I have gone with the 2nd Cuirassier Regt, as the 13th were formed from squadrons from the 1st and 2nd Cuirassiers and from 1st and 2nd Carabiniers.
Cleanly cast and sculpted with a beauty of a beard and facial details. So what have I done so far.
The plinth for him to stand on has been completed as well as the ground work. the cracked earth is from CITADEL paints in the technical range called AGRELLAN EARTH, (why they don't call it cracked earth is beyond me). Its very easy to use.
So its now on to painting him, more updates soon.

Well that looks pretty nifty there Bob. Looking forward to seeing the dude painted up.

Joe

I'll be giving that agrellan earth a go:).

Very good start.

I also wait the next steps.......

Thanks for the comments guys, the trick to the paint is to lay it on thick and let it dry. I left mine under a lamp for quite a while, then paint whatever colour you like. You can find various video's on YouTube from games workshop.
