Morning Peter

Lovely work on the blue pants, a good choice to break the plain palette.

Hopefully you are over the worst of the side effects too?

On a subjective note, everyone we know who had a positive Covid test has had some degree of side effects from the jab.

Onto another figure for your next victim?

Enjoy the cooler weather, if you get any?

Regards

Steve H

Hi Peter

The competed piece looks good , nice wood effects on the weapon

Like the blue adds a good contrast to the uniform colour

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Nap

Mike - Glad you like him. Thanks.

Henk - Many thanks.

Rob - Thank you for looking in and taking the time to comment.

Andy - Cheers (not a Nazi this time!).

Marcin - Lots of available bench time at the moment and nothing to hold me back.

Steve - I am enjoying these plastic figures at the moment, so I plan another Tamiya conversion for the next. Not feeling as bad as I did initially thanks, but still a bit woozy now and then. Still warm and sunny here so all windows and doors open, though we do have a whistling builder working next door - boy is he loud and worse when he breaks into rap. Hopefully he should be finished soon - at least he's happy in his work.

Nap - Glad you approve. Thank you.

Martin - Ditto and thanks for the cap info.

Another excellent figure, Peter. I really enjoy seeing what you do with box stock plastic kit figures, & older Verlinden resin pieces - you turn them into real competition winners! Proper job (y)

Hi Peter!

Top notch paint as usual. (y)
The folds and creases - super well done.

Cheers,
Pedro.

Chris - Many thanks. Quite into plastic kit figures at the moment. Problem, is that everyone seems to be out of stock and it's now very hard to get hold of anything by Tamiya and Dragon at the moment in the UK. Looks like it's back to the resin...

Pascal - Many thanks.

Pedro - Glad you like this one. Thank you.

Spectacular results there Peter, you've made a silk purse out of what I'd always considered to be a sow's ear.

Cheers Steve. These Trumpeter figures have been shunned by the figure community, but although they won't win any competitions, they do scrub up reasonably well.
