Darren! You continue to blow me away!! I like 54mm just fine. My 61-year old eyes welcome the spectacles and that is all there is to it. Many congratulations!

Wish it was in a larger scale! I cannot see the smaller scales to paint them. This was my fathers regiment and he was 1 year old at the time! Would make a fitting tribute methinks! Its a wonderful figure!!!

Firstly lovely figure, but for accuracy sake. The breast plate wasn't used by line cavalry after 1902. When they did use it the ornament was a Royal cypher with crown and it was fastened to the burs (foreward part of the side boards that have rings attached) by leather straps that went through a ring. So the part of the strap that goes around the horses neck is three pieces seperated by two brass rings not one piece as shown. On the head kit there's one too many buckles on the off side.
If I'm nict picking just ignore me.:)

A fantastic figure. I may be wrong, but if the chin strap is under the chin, it wouldn't also be above the peak of the cap. Nonetheless, an excellent addition to the wonderful Tommy's War series. Keep them coming.
