Hello Mike in Tulsa. . .

Hello Mike:

Thanks for taking time to post your comments. BTW, I am very familiar with
the great show at the Sheraton that you folks with the Historical Figure
Painters Society of NE Oklahoma put on each June. I've been to this show
three time now, and was there just this past June. Quite candidly, my figure
painting isn't up to the standards of your members, and I don't know, at age
72 if I'll live long enough to get 'them' . . . ah. . . there. :):( Actually, that is
supposed to be my poor attempt at whimsy. But that is my correct age.

But the oil painting is a lot of fun, and as a retired person, just for the sheer
fun of it, is a good enough reason, right? Hope to see you all again next year.

BTW Numba' two: My BattleStar Galactica Cylon Raider model
took a bronze at the show this past June. I didn't bring any figures.

Hello again, Ian:

Thanks again for the encouraging words on that "Battle of Britain" painting
idea, to pay tribute to thedogged never quit determination of the
British people.

In my view, Sir Winston was just the right person to come along, just at the
right time. . .

What was the famous quotes from Prime Minister Churchill?

"Never in the field of Human Conflict have so many owed so much to so
few". Sir Winston did have a way with words. And also:

"This was their finest hour"

Kind regards, rick
